Dr. Mateen Trimzi

Dr. Mateen Trimzi is a Staff Physician in the Hospital Medicine Program at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He earned his medical degree from Nishtar Medical College in Multan, Pakistan, and completed his internal medicine residency at Charleston Area Medical Center in West Virginia. He holds a Master of Public Health in medical epidemiology from Loma Linda University.

Dr. Trimzi specializes in managing complex medical conditions in hospitalized adult patients. During his career, he established and led the liver hospitalist program at UC San Diego and served as an instructor and liver hospitalist at Loma Linda University Medical Center for five years. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and brings over two decades of clinical experience to his practice.

He is well-suited for patients requiring coordinated inpatient care, particularly those with multiple medical conditions or requiring specialist input during hospital stays. Dr. Trimzi is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine and the American College of Physicians.
