Dr. Samina Khizar

Dr Samina Khizar is a consultant urologist with 12 years of experience in urology and andrology. She completed her MBBS from Shifa College of Medicine in Pakistan and went on to train in general surgery at Shifa International Hospital before specialising in urology at the Armed Forces Institute of Urology (AFIU). After four years as a consultant, she joined NMC Healthcare in Dubai where she continues to practise.

Dr Khizar has particular expertise in managing urinary incontinence, female urology and pelvic floor disorders. She treats a wide range of urological conditions including kidney stones, urethral strictures and narrowing, bladder tumours, bladder stones and prostate-related problems. She has a special interest in minimally invasive stone surgery techniques, including mini-PCNL (percutaneous nephrolithotomy) procedures.

She is actively involved in research and has published 6 papers in peer-reviewed journals, including work on the safety of mini-PCNL in high-risk patients.
