Dr. Said Hussen Huwaijah

Dr. Said Hussen Huwaijah is an interventional radiologist with more than two decades of experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He holds a Master's Degree in Diagnostic Radiology from Damascus University in Syria and completed a fellowship in interventional radiology from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. He is an Associate Professor at Damascus University and previously served as Chairman of the Radiology department there.

Dr. Huwaijah specializes in both conventional and advanced interventional radiology techniques. His clinical expertise encompasses ultrasound and CT-guided procedures, neurointerventional radiology, vascular and non-vascular interventional work, kidney drainage procedures (nephrostomy), hepatic and biliary interventions, pain management, and bone biopsies. He combines diagnostic imaging with minimally invasive therapeutic interventions to treat a wide range of conditions.

He is well suited for patients requiring complex image-guided procedures, vascular interventions, or who prefer minimally invasive alternatives to surgery.
