Dr. Bahaa Demian Grace

Dr. Bahaa Demian Grace is a Consultant in Internal Medicine at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi, with over 22 years of clinical experience managing complex medical conditions. He graduated from Cairo University's Kasr Al Aini School of Medicine in 1989 and went on to earn his Master's degree in 1993 and Doctorate in Internal Medicine in 1999. He also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Diabetes from the University of Leicester, UK. Before joining Burjeel, he held significant academic and clinical positions in Egypt, including Lecturer and Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Cairo University, and served as Medical Director of the Internal Medicine Intensive Care Unit at Cairo University Hospitals.

Dr. Bahaa's expertise spans eight major areas: endocrinology, diabetes, nephrology (kidney disease), rheumatology, clinical immunology, autoimmune diseases, vasculitis, and intensive care medicine. He established specialized clinics for conditions including Behçet's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), with a particular focus on autoimmune disease management. He is a Fellow of the Egyptian Society of Nephrology and the Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology group at Cairo University.

Dr. Bahaa is fluent in English and Arabic, and actively participates in international medical conferences and workshops. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed international journals and is a member of several prominent medical organisations, including the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, American Geriatric Society, and Egyptian Society of Nephrology.
