Dr. Ranjith Narayan

Dr. Ranjith Narayan is a Specialist in Orthopaedics at Aster Hospitals Dubai, with over a decade of experience in joint and trauma surgery. He trained at Trivandrum Medical College in Kerala, India, completing his MBBS in 1997 and MS in Orthopaedics in 2002. Before joining Aster, he worked across several hospitals in Kerala, including as a consultant at SK Hospital.

Dr. Narayan specializes in arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery of the knee and shoulder, as well as joint replacement procedures for the knee, hip, and shoulder. He also manages complex trauma cases, including complicated fractures of the arms and legs, pelvic fractures, and acetabular fractures. His surgical toolkit includes intramedullary nailing, minimally invasive plating and osteosynthesis (MIPPO), open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF), external fixators, and Ilizarov procedures for bone correction and lengthening.

He is well-suited for patients requiring joint preservation or replacement surgery, those with complex fractures requiring specialized reconstruction, and individuals seeking arthroscopic treatment of knee or shoulder problems.
