Dr. Akef Marouf Yassine

Dr. Akef Yassine is a specialist urologist with a PhD in urology from Rostov State Medical University in Russia, where he completed his medical degree and postgraduate specialization. He has practised urology across government and private hospitals in Lebanon before joining NMC Healthcare in Dubai, where he continues his clinical work. His expertise spans the full breadth of urological conditions affecting men, women, and children.

Dr. Yassine specializes in minimally invasive techniques including ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, and extracorporeal shock-wave therapy for kidney and bladder stones. He also manages benign prostate enlargement and prostate inflammation, diagnoses and treats cancers of the kidney, bladder, prostate and testicles, and provides comprehensive men's health and andrology services including treatment for erectile dysfunction and male infertility. He treats urinary tract infections, incontinence, and overactive bladder across all age groups.
