Dr. Rahul Patil

Dr. Rahul Patil is an anaesthesiologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, with 13 years of clinical experience across a wide range of surgical specialties. He trained in India at prestigious institutions including Shree Bhausaheb Hire Government Medical College and Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital (a teaching hospital in Mumbai), where he also served as an assistant professor. He has worked at some of India's busiest trauma centres and held senior positions at major teaching hospitals before joining SSMC.

Dr. Patil provides anaesthesia care for diverse surgical procedures, including orthopaedic, trauma, obstetric, robotic, ENT, neurosurgery, maxillofacial, paediatric, thoracic, urological, and plastic surgery cases. His expertise encompasses general anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia techniques, pain management, and critical care of surgical patients. He is particularly interested in regional anaesthesia and labour pain relief.

He is a member of the Indian Medical Association and holds professional licences from the Department of Health Abu Dhabi and India's National Medical Commission.
