Dr. Sonja Cerovac

Dr Sonja Cerovac is a consultant plastic surgeon with a 30-year career spanning both the UK National Health Service and private practice in London until April 2024. She trained extensively in Serbia and the UK, completing fellowships in aesthetic surgery, hand and wrist surgery, and orthopaedic training by 2008. She was Head of Plastic Surgery at St George's Hospital in London—one of Europe's largest trauma centres—from 2019 to 2022, and remains actively involved in teaching and research.

Sonja offers comprehensive cosmetic treatments for facial and body rejuvenation, scar revision, and removal of skin lumps and lesions. She has particular expertise in skin cancer reconstruction and complex cases. She is also highly skilled in all aspects of hand and wrist surgery, including microsurgery and wrist arthroscopy, treating both acute injuries and long-term conditions. She does not perform rhinoplasties (nose surgery).

Her postgraduate research focused on flexor tendon surgery of the hand. Outside work, she is an accomplished athlete who enjoys outdoor activities. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and maintains specialist registration with the UK General Medical Council.
