Dr. Sonu Bose

Dr. Sonu Bose is a leading paediatric (children's) dentist at NMC Specialty Hospital in Abu Dhabi, with over 18 years of dedicated experience in children's dentistry and 22 years in dentistry overall. He completed his B.D.S in 2003 and M.D.S in Paediatric Dentistry in 2007 from Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University in Chennai, India. Before joining NMC in 2013, he worked as a Specialist at the Children's Dental Clinic in AIMST University, Malaysia, where he also taught dental students as a Senior Lecturer.

Dr. Bose treats a comprehensive range of paediatric dental conditions and procedures, from routine fillings and extractions to complex cases including root canal therapy, stainless steel crowns, and full-mouth rehabilitation under general anaesthesia. He specialises in behaviour management of pre-cooperative and uncooperative children, helping anxious or young patients receive the care they need. His expertise extends to preventive care, including orthodontic guidance, prevention of harmful oral habits (thumb sucking, mouth breathing, tongue thrusting), night guards, and emergency trauma management.

He is particularly skilled in treating children with special needs and managing complex dental cases that require general anaesthesia. Dr. Bose is known for providing compassionate, tailored care designed around each child's individual needs and comfort.
