Dr. Abbas Deeb

Dr. Abbas Deeb is a consultant nephrologist with extensive training and experience in kidney disease management. He completed his fellowship in nephrology, dialysis, high blood pressure, and kidney-pancreas transplantation at Lyon-Sud University Hospital, one of France's largest university hospital networks, where he worked as a consultant nephrologist for 10 years. He founded and led the Nephrology Department at Pierre Outdo Hospital Center in Bourgoin Jallieu, France, serving as Head of Department from 2014 to 2017.

Dr. Deeb diagnoses and treats a wide range of kidney conditions, including acute and chronic kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes-related kidney damage, urinary tract infections, and autoimmune kidney diseases such as lupus and vasculitis. He manages patients on both peritoneal and haemodialysis, provides ongoing care for kidney transplant recipients, and helps prevent and treat kidney stones. He also specialises in rare kidney disorders, electrolyte imbalances, and kidney disease in pregnancy.
