Dr. Ahmed Hamza

Dr. Ahmed Hamza is a board-certified general surgeon with 25 years of clinical experience across Egypt, Kuwait, and the UAE. He graduated from Cairo University's Faculty of Medicine in 1996 and completed his master's degree in general surgery in 2001. He obtained his M.D. in general surgery from Ain Shams University in 2012, and holds a diploma in advanced laparoscopic surgery from the World Laparoscopy Hospital in India. He has worked at leading surgical institutions including Dar Al Fouad Hospital in Egypt and Mubarak Al Kabeer Hospital (the teaching hospital of Kuwait University) before joining Abu Dhabi's top-ranked private surgical centers in 2019.

Dr. Hamza specializes in minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery across a wide range of conditions. He performs hernia repairs, gallbladder removal, appendectomy, thyroid surgery, breast tumour removal, and colon procedures using laparoscopic and advanced techniques including laser and Doppler technology for anal conditions. He is equally comfortable with emergency and trauma surgery. His research background includes liver transplantation, and he has contributed to multiple published studies while teaching medical students and mentoring junior surgeons.
