Dr. Salem Taha Elsayed

Dr Salem Taha Elsayed is a specialist neurologist with 21 years of clinical experience, currently practising at NMC Specialty Hospital Al Ain. He completed his medical degree (MBBS) at Ain Shams University in Cairo in 2004, followed by postgraduate training in neuropsychiatry and neurology at the same institution, earning an MSc in Neuropsychiatry (2009) and an MD in Neurology (2014). His career began in Egypt in 2005 and progressed through senior roles in government and private hospitals in Al Ain.

Dr Salem has developed particular expertise in epilepsy management and neurophysiological testing. He has pursued international clinical fellowships to strengthen his skills, including an observation program at the prestigious Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic focusing on epilepsy (2013), and an observational fellowship in neurophysiology at the University Hospital Inselspital Bern in Switzerland (2016), where he trained in nerve conduction studies, electromyography, and evoked potentials testing.

He works with both adults and is equipped to manage a wide range of neurological conditions using diagnostic and therapeutic techniques refined through his international training. Dr Salem is fluent in Arabic, English, and French, making him accessible to diverse patient populations.
