Dr. Binod Pegu

Dr. Binod Pegu is a Specialist Anesthetist with over 5 years of clinical experience in anesthesia and critical care. He completed his MD in Anesthesia at Slichar Medical College and Hospital in Assam, India, followed by specialized training in neuro-anesthesia and neuro-critical care through a fellowship at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. His career includes residency in cardiac anesthesia at Medanta the Medicity Hospital in Gurgaon and a year as a fellow in neuro-critical care at AIIMS Delhi, before joining as Consultant Anesthetist at Supreme Hospital in Haryana.

Dr. Pegu manages both surgical and non-surgical emergencies, with extensive hands-on experience in critical care procedures. Over the last 5 years, he has performed more than 1,000 invasive procedures, with particular focus on major neurotrauma cases, neurosurgery patients, and children. His technical skills include tracheostomy (emergency airway management), lung ultrasound, ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, cardiac ultrasound (2D echo), transcranial Doppler monitoring, and other advanced invasive procedures.

He is well-suited for patients requiring specialized anesthesia for complex neurosurgical procedures, trauma cases, or paediatric surgery, as well as those needing critical care management with advanced monitoring and emergency airway skills.
