Dr. Hamdy Aboutaleb

Dr. Hamdy Aboutaleb is a consultant urologist with over 25 years of clinical experience. He trained at Menoufia University in Egypt, where he completed a Master's degree, MD and PhD in Urology, as well as a diploma in laparoscopic surgery. In 2004, he received a fellowship from the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, and later became Professor of Urology at Menoufia University in 2017. He now practises at Reem Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Aboutaleb specialises in paediatric urology, laparoscopic surgery for kidney anomalies and tumours, and endourological procedures (minimally invasive kidney and ureter treatments). His approach emphasises advanced surgical techniques including laser and keyhole methods, which reduce recovery time and scarring compared to open surgery.
