Dr. Mari Aallos

Dr Mari is a consultant paediatric and general anaesthetist with 17 years of clinical experience, the majority focused on anaesthesia for children. She completed her specialist training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in Finland in 2005, followed by a subspecialty degree in Paediatric Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in 2008 and a Scandinavian fellowship diploma in 2007. She has built extensive experience managing anaesthesia for premature babies and complex paediatric surgical cases requiring specialist skills.

Dr Mari has worked across Northern Europe and the Middle East, including three years as a consultant at Helsinki University New Paediatric Hospital (Northern Europe's largest paediatric hospital), four years at American Hospital Dubai where she managed anaesthesia and postoperative care for complex paediatric surgery patients, and eight years at Turku University Hospital in Finland. Throughout her career, she has maintained competency in adult anaesthesia by rotating through various adult surgical specialties.

She is particularly experienced in neonatal anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia for children, ambulatory paediatric procedures, and pain management for both children and adults.
