Dr. Mehmood Zeb

Dr Mehmood Zeb is a consultant interventional cardiologist with over 18 years' experience in cardiovascular medicine across leading UK teaching hospitals including Manchester University Hospital, Southampton University Hospital and Nottingham University Hospital. He is UK board-certified in interventional cardiology and general internal medicine, holds a PhD in cardiology from the University of Southampton, and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians. He trained at Royal Bournemouth University Hospital, a high-volume PCI centre of excellence, where he was fully trained and certified in all types of complex coronary interventions.

Dr Zeb specialises in advanced coronary procedures including multivessel disease, complex bifurcation and left main stem stenting, rotational atherectomy (rotablation), and chronic total occlusion (CTO) intervention. He also implants pacemakers, defibrillators and loop recorders, and performs specialist echocardiography including stress testing. His research has focused on developing new methods for managing ischaemic heart disease and preventing sudden cardiac death, published in high-impact international journals.

He is well-suited for patients needing complex coronary intervention, device therapy, or comprehensive heart rhythm and structural heart assessment. His background in general cardiology means he can also manage heart failure, high blood pressure, cholesterol disorders and heart valve disease.
