Dr. Nasheeda CM

Dr Nasheeda Chemban Mammootty is an experienced paediatrician with over six years of expertise in paediatric and newborn care. She trained in India, completing her MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bengaluru and her MD in Paediatrics from NITTE University in Mangalore. Early in her career, she served as a Senior Assistant Professor at a medical college for three years, where she managed cases in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) while teaching medical students. She was also actively involved in community outreach programmes and served as a frontline worker during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Dr Nasheeda specializes in outpatient paediatric care, immunizations, and conditions affecting child growth and development. She has a particular interest in newborn and postnatal infant care, including neonatology. Prior to joining NMC Healthcare in Sharjah, she worked at a leading private hospital in India, where she provided both outpatient and inpatient paediatric care.
