Dr. S. Shireen Ahmad

Dr Shireen Ahmad is a consultant radiologist specializing in breast imaging, with more than 20 years of clinical experience across the UK, Germany, West Indies, and UAE. She completed her medical degree (MBBS) and bachelor's degree from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica, followed by specialist training in radiology in the UK. She holds the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) and the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST), and trained at leading institutions including St George Hospital London and King's College Hospital London. She also gained additional qualifications in Germany, where she was certified as a radiologist (Facharztin Radiologie) at St Georg Krankenhaus in Hamburg.

Dr Shireen spent 17 years as a consultant radiologist at Frimley Park Hospital in the UK, where she developed deep expertise in breast imaging. Since moving to Dubai in 2017, she has led breast imaging services as head of breast care imaging and continues to focus on early detection of breast cancer. She is experienced across the full range of diagnostic and interventional breast imaging techniques, including digital mammography, 3D breast tomosynthesis, ultrasound, MRI, and ultrasound-guided and stereotactic biopsies.
