Dr. AlShimaa Rezk

Dr. AlShimaa Rezk is a Specialist in Endocrinology at Medcare Women & Children Hospital in Dubai. She completed her medical degree (MBBCh) at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, and went on to earn a Master's Degree in Endocrinology and Metabolism from the same institution. With 22 years of clinical experience, she has held senior positions at leading hospitals across Egypt and Saudi Arabia before joining Medcare.

Dr. Rezk manages a wide range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid tumours and disorders, gestational diabetes in pregnancy, reproductive and neuro-endocrine disorders, and conditions affecting the pituitary, adrenal and ovarian glands. She has experience treating hormonal imbalances such as hirsutism, testicular dysfunction, low testosterone, and enlarged breast tissue in men. Her expertise spans both adult endocrinology and female hormonal health.
