About Dr. Osama Fathi Galal Ibrahim
Dr. Osama Fathi Galal Ibrahim is a specialist radiologist with 22 years of clinical experience, based at Medeor Hospital in Abu Dhabi. He trained in Egypt at Ain Shams University, worked extensively in Saudi Arabia between 2007 and 2018, and relocated to the UAE in 2018. He holds fellowships from the Royal College of Radiologists (UK) and the European Board of Radiology (Spain), alongside a Master's degree in Radiology.
Dr. Osama specializes in functional imaging across all major modalities — MRI, CT and ultrasound. His particular expertise includes advanced MRI techniques such as defecography (bowel imaging), enterography (small-bowel imaging), and brain imaging for surgery planning; CT coronary angiography and cardiac assessment; and high-resolution ultrasound with Doppler studies of blood vessels. He performs imaging across the body: brain, spine, heart, lungs, abdomen, pelvis, joints and soft tissues.
Beyond clinical work, he is an active educator, delivering lectures, workshops and presentations on radiology topics including MRI safety, cardiac imaging, and emergency radiology.
