Dr. Nabil Abutartour

Dr. Nabil Abutartour is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Emirates Hospital Day Surgery in Abu Dhabi, and Managing Director at Alanamel Medical Center. He completed his medical degree (MBBCH) at Al Fateh University in Libya and obtained specialist certification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the Arab Board. He holds a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from Germany and has undertaken specialized training in urogynecology in Sydney, Australia and Egypt.

Dr. Abutartour's clinical work covers the full spectrum of women's health: he manages both low- and high-risk pregnancies, performs normal vaginal deliveries and caesarean sections, and carries out keyhole (laparoscopic) gynaecologic procedures including colposcopy and hysteroscopy. He also provides gynecologic ultrasound services, cervical and breast cancer screening, and family planning counselling including IUD insertion. His training in Germany and further subspecialist work in Australia and Egypt have built his skills in minimally invasive techniques.

He is a member of several professional bodies including the Libyan Society of Reproductive Medicine, Middle East Laparoscopic Society, and The European Endoscopic Society. Dr. Abutartour is fluent in English and Arabic and works with patients across all stages of women's life—from adolescence through perimenopause and beyond. His approach emphasises patient-centred care alongside advanced surgical expertise.
