Dr. Vinod Metta

Dr. Vinod Metta is a Consultant Interventional Neurologist with extensive training in neurology and movement disorders at leading UK institutions including King's College Hospital London, Imperial College London, and University College London. He holds a doctorate in neurology focused on the non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease, such as fatigue and sleep problems, and was awarded the 2016 ABN Australasian Fellowship. He is a member of both the Association of British Neurologists and the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists.

Dr. Metta has over a decade of clinical experience treating advanced Parkinson's disease and other neurodegenerative conditions across the UK, India, and the Middle East. He specializes in device-assisted therapies such as subcutaneous apomorphine pumps and intrajejunal duodopa infusions, as well as interventional procedures including botulinum toxin injections for dystonia and spasticity, salivary gland chemodenervation for excessive drooling, and nerve blocks for severe migraines and nerve pain. He has published in high-impact journals including Brain, contributed book chapters to the Oxford Textbook of Clinical Medicine, and authored a book on Parkinson's disease.
