Dr. Israa Mouhsen Khalil Al Mulai

Dr. Israa is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with nearly 30 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, including 20 years practising in the UAE. She trained in Iraq at Mosul University, where she gained her Arab Board qualification in a tertiary centre managing complex high-risk cases. She began her UAE career in 2003 at Latifa Hospital in Dubai, one of the region's busiest centres, initially as a Senior Specialist before gaining her MRCOG (Member, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK). She was later appointed to the Faculty of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Dubai Medical College for Girls and now holds the position of Assistant Professor there.

Dr. Israa has undergone extensive additional training, including a Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery from India and later a Licentiate qualification from the Medical Council of Canada during a period practising there. She returned to the UAE and spent three years as a Consultant at Kalba Hospital in the Northern Emirates, where she obtained her FRCOG (Fellow, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK) in 2017. She rejoined Latifa Hospital in 2018 and recently completed postgraduate ultrasound training in Sharjah to enhance her diagnostic skills.

She is particularly focused on high-risk pregnancy management, from pre-conception through delivery and postpartum care. Her approach emphasises clear communication, shared decision-making, and meticulous care for both mother and baby.
