Dr. Chacko George

Dr. Chacko George is an internal medicine and respiratory physician with over three decades of clinical experience. He trained at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, then completed a postgraduate diploma in chest diseases and tuberculosis from the Patel Chest Institute (1985) and an MD in internal medicine from CMC Ludhiana (1992). He spent much of his early career in Delhi's leading private teaching hospitals, where he mentored postgraduate doctors and supervised research in internal medicine and chest-related topics. From 1996 to 2001, he worked as a specialist in chest diseases at the Saudi Ministry of Health.

Dr. Chacko is a pioneer in fibreoptic bronchoscopy—the technique where a thin, flexible camera is passed into the airways to diagnose and treat lung problems. He introduced this procedure to multiple Delhi hospitals in 1989, well before it became routine. In 2004, he established a dedicated sleep diseases laboratory after receiving specialized training in Singapore. He has chaired medical education sessions and lectured on internal medicine and chest conditions internationally.

He is well-suited for patients with chronic respiratory conditions, sleep disorders, or complex general medical problems who value a doctor with deep experience in lung and airway disease.
