Dr. Azhar Schett

Dr. Azhar Schett is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group in Dubai. She holds a German board qualification in obstetrics, gynaecology and breast diseases, as well as a higher diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology. She brings internationally trained expertise to women's health care across obstetrics, gynaecology, and breast surgery.

Dr. Schett's clinical focus spans the full scope of women's reproductive and breast health. She manages normal vaginal deliveries, caesarean sections, and operative obstetrics including forceps and vacuum delivery. In gynaecology, she performs both open and laparoscopic procedures—including hysterectomy, fibroid removal (myomectomy), ovarian tumour removal, and endometriosis surgery. For cancer care, she diagnoses and treats cervical, ovarian, uterine, and vulval cancers using both laparoscopic and open surgical approaches. In breast surgery, she offers diagnostic biopsies and cancer treatment including lumpectomy with lymph node removal.
