About Dr. Radwan El Husseini
Dr. Radwan El Husseini is a consultant thoracic surgeon with 30 years of international experience across France, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. He made medical history in 1999 by performing Lebanon's first cardiac transplant. Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in all aspects of thoracic surgery—from routine procedures to the most complex cases.
Dr. El Husseini treats benign and malignant lung and chest conditions using both traditional open surgery and minimally invasive keyhole techniques (VATS). He also performs a wide range of vascular operations, including aortic aneurysm repair, bypass grafts, and emergency vascular procedures. His training in surgical anatomy and emergency techniques, combined with his experience treating trauma and war injuries, gives him the skill to manage acute and life-threatening situations. He regularly teaches and publishes research in his field.
