Dr. Mohammad Aldisi

Dr Mohammad Aldisi is a paediatrician and neonatologist with over three decades of clinical experience across the Middle East and North Africa. He trained at Medical University Sofia in Bulgaria, completed specialist paediatric and neonatology training at Albasheer General Teaching Hospital in Amman, Jordan, and earned the Jordan Board in Paediatrics in 1992. He later pursued advanced training at Yorkhill Hospital in Glasgow, achieving MRCPCH certification in 2000.

Dr Aldisi has held senior positions at major hospitals throughout his career. As Head of Paediatric Department at the Medical Center in Tripoli, Libya (1997–2011), he established a modern level III neonatal intensive care unit from the ground up. He subsequently served as Paediatric and Neonatology Consultant and Medical Director at Sheikh Khalifa Maternity & Paediatric Hospital in Ajman, UAE, where he led the hospital to become the first Ministry of Health facility to achieve JCI accreditation. He has trained numerous junior doctors who have gone on to become experienced neonatologists and has contributed to medical education at Gulf Medical College and Ajman University.

Dr Aldisi is now teaching staff and examiner at Sharjah University's medical college. He specialises in the care of newborns, particularly premature and critically ill infants requiring intensive monitoring and support.
