Dr. Nighat Aftab

Dr. Nighat Aftab is a UK board-certified Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with three decades of clinical experience in Dubai hospitals. She holds FRCOG (Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists) and MRCOG credentials from the UK, along with her MBBS from Sindh University in Pakistan and specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Nighat is deeply involved in medical education. She serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Sharjah University and Dubai Medical College, and examines candidates for Dubai Medical College, MBRU, MRCPI, and MRCOG qualifications, directly shaping the training of future doctors. During her hospital career, she has chaired the Morbidity & Mortality Committee and served as a key liaison between the Dubai Health Authority and the Ministry of Health and Prevention.

Dr. Nighat is also committed to community health and humanitarian work. She was formerly president of the medical wing of the Pakistan Association Dubai, has organised multiple voluntary medical camps and health awareness campaigns, and played a central role in establishing a non-profit medical centre. She speaks English and Urdu.
