Dr. Mekki Medani

Dr. Mekki Medani is a consultant vascular surgeon with five years' clinical experience. He previously worked at University Hospital Limerick in Ireland and now practises at Mediclinic Dubai. He trained to the highest level in vascular surgery, holding qualifications including FRCS (Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons) and an MD.

Dr. Medani manages the full range of arterial and venous vascular conditions. His main areas of work include stroke prevention through carotid artery surgery, limb preservation and management of peripheral vascular disease (including diabetic complications), abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, varicose vein treatment, dialysis access creation and maintenance, and thoracic outlet syndrome affecting blood vessels. He uses both traditional open surgery and modern minimally invasive endovascular (catheter-based) techniques, as well as hybrid approaches that combine both methods.

He is a good fit for patients with cardiovascular risk factors seeking preventive care, those with leg or foot circulation problems, and patients requiring specialist vascular interventions.
