Dr. Mehreen Zaman

Dr. Mehreen Zaman is a Specialist Gastroenterologist at Medcare Sharjah with 8 years of clinical experience. She trained in Pakistan, completing her medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore and a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology from the College of Physicians and Surgeons. Before relocating to the UAE, she held academic and clinical positions across multiple teaching hospitals in Lahore, including roles as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor, where she supervised gastroenterology trainees and taught medical students.

Dr. Zaman specializes in advanced endoscopic procedures—including upper endoscopy, ERCP (treating bile-duct disorders), capsule endoscopy, feeding-tube insertion, variceal ligation and stricture dilation. She manages the full spectrum of digestive and liver conditions: acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, pancreatic disease, Barrett's esophagus, and pancreatic cysts. She also performs biopsies and conducts colorectal and pancreatic cancer screening.
