Dr. Santosh GD Kumar

Dr. Santosh Kumar is an Associate Staff Physician in the Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Neurological Institute, bringing 28 years of clinical experience in psychiatric care. He completed his medical degree at Sindh Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, followed by specialized training in psychiatry through residency programs at both Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan. His career has included roles as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Saudi Arabia and several years practicing psychiatry across Abu Dhabi's healthcare facilities.

Dr. Kumar's clinical focus encompasses liaison psychiatry (mental health support for medical patients), early intervention in psychosis, and psychiatric intensive care. He has been actively involved in medical education throughout his career, teaching medical students, nursing students, and postgraduate trainees.
