Dr. Mohammed Abdelmoneim Mohammed Othman

Dr. Mohammed Abdelmoneim Mohammed Othman is a Cardiology Consultant at NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi with 25 years of clinical experience. He completed his medical degree from Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2001, and went on to earn a Master's degree in Cardiovascular Medicine from Banha University in 2008 and a PhD in Cardiovascular Medicine in 2020. He trained extensively in Kuwait at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital, a large 1,200-bed tertiary centre, where he worked as a Senior Registrar for 10 years managing thousands of cardiac patients and contributing to major research registries. Since 2019, he has been based in Abu Dhabi, where he established a full cardiac service at NMC-ADNOC Hospital.

Dr. Mohammed provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment across a wide range of heart conditions, from high blood pressure and coronary artery disease to heart failure, irregular heartbeat, and valve problems. He performs advanced cardiac imaging including echocardiography (standard and probe-based), stress testing, Holter monitoring, and nuclear heart imaging. He also offers pacemaker insertion, fluid drainage from around the heart, and cardiac rehabilitation programmes tailored to each patient's medication, diet, and exercise needs.

His special interests include preventive cardiology, sports cardiology screening for athletes, managing heart problems in pregnancy, and monitoring cancer patients for heart complications from chemotherapy. He takes a holistic approach to chronic disease management and has published internationally on his research findings. Dr. Mohammed is fluent in Arabic and English and holds an MBA in Healthcare Management & Leadership.
