Dr. Abedi Farhad Syed Abbas Hasan

Dr. Abedi Farhad Syed Abbas Hasan is a consultant in clinical and interventional radiology at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi. He trained at the West Midlands School of Radiology in the UK and holds fellowships from the Royal College of Radiologists and specialized training in oncologic imaging and intervention at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. He completed his Certificate of Completion of Training in 2017 and brings 8 years of clinical experience.

Dr. Hasan performs a broad range of minimally invasive image-guided procedures. His expertise spans vascular interventions—including treatment of blocked arteries and veins, aortic aneurysm repair, and dialysis access problems—as well as non-vascular procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and stent placements in the biliary and gastrointestinal systems. He has particular expertise in emergency bleeding control, tumor treatment through embolization and ablation, and management of complex vascular conditions including in transplant patients.
