Dr. Deepthy Baby

Deepthy Baby is a speech and language therapist at Medcare Medical Centre in Dubai with 11 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology and a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from the Dr. S. R. Chandrasekhar Institute of Speech and Hearing at Bangalore University, India. She is a member of the Rehabilitation Council of India and a Lifetime member of the Indian Speech and Hearing Association.

Earlier in her career, she worked as a Senior Speech Language Pathologist in Bangalore and then moved to Dubai, where she gained extensive experience at specialized centres including the Advanced Behavioural Learning Environment (ABLE UK) and the Widad Centre for Disability and Child Development. Her clinical expertise covers assessment and treatment of speech and language delays, stuttering, voice disorders, feeding problems, and communication difficulties linked to autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other developmental conditions. She is proficient in fluency therapy, voice therapy, feeding and oral-motor approaches, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems including Proloquo2Go, TD Snap, Touch Chat, and PECS.

Deepthy works with both children and adults, providing individualized education plans, parent training, and early intervention services. She is known for her compassionate approach and clear communication with families and caregivers.
