Dr. Hanan Hafez

Dr. Hanan Hafez is a Consultant Cardiologist at Burjeel Medical Center in Al Ain with over 20 years of clinical experience. She earned her medical degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo in 1992, followed by a Master's in Cardiology in 1996 and an MD in 2002. Her career began as a resident at Ain Shams University's cardiology department, where she progressed to lecturer and consultant roles across leading Egyptian hospitals including Ain Shams Specialized Hospital, Dar El-Shefa Hospital, El-Doura Cardiology Hospital, and Sheikh Zaid Hospital. She relocated to the UAE in 2008, holding consultant and academic positions at hospitals in Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah, and most recently at Emirates Heart Clinic in Abu Dhabi before joining Burjeel.

Dr. Hafez specializes in preventive cardiology, nuclear cardiology, cardiac critical care, and non-invasive cardiology. She is skilled in diagnostic procedures including ECG, echocardiography (2D), Holter monitoring, treadmill stress testing, and thallium stress testing. She has extensive experience in coronary care units (CCU), managing cardiac emergencies and performing CPR. She was part of a small nuclear cardiology team at Ain Shams University, one of Egypt's largest cardiac centers treating over 2,000 patients annually.
