Dr. Farah Bilal

Dr. Farah Bilal is a consultant anesthesiologist and head of department at Burjeel Abu Dhabi, with over 15 years of clinical experience across all major fields of anesthesiology. She completed the Arab Board of Anesthesiology and holds a Higher Specialty Diploma in Anesthesiology, establishing her as a fully qualified specialist in her field.

Dr. Bilal specializes in perioperative care (managing patients before, during, and after surgery), regional anesthesia techniques including ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, pediatric anesthesia for children, neuro-spine anesthesia for complex spine and brain surgeries, labor pain relief, and obstetric anesthesia. She is skilled in neuraxial techniques (spinal and epidural injections) and has extensive experience managing high-risk medical patients. Her work spans reconstructive orthopedic surgeries and gynecologic procedures.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Bilal is actively involved in training residents and healthcare staff, conducting clinical research, and staying current with advances in anesthesiology. She is a member of the European Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Therapy (ESRA) and the Lebanese Society of Anesthesiology (LSA), reflecting her commitment to professional excellence.
