Dr. Nida Abu Said

Dr. Nida Abu Said is a consultant psychiatrist with over two decades of experience in mental health care across the Middle East and beyond. She completed her MD in Venezuela and obtained her specialist qualification through the Arab Board program, earning Arab Board certification in psychiatry in Beirut, Lebanon, in 2003. She now leads inpatient mental health services at Reem Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

From 2004 to 2022, Dr. Nida served as Head of the Psychiatry Unit at Ain Wazein Medical Village in Lebanon, overseeing inpatient and outpatient care, liaison psychiatry services, and organizing national psychiatric congresses. She has also worked as a consultant psychiatrist at the Royal Commission Hospital in Saudi Arabia and provided specialist assessments for Lebanon's Ministry of Justice. Her experience spans community mental health through her five years with UNRWA clinics in Lebanon, and she spent 14 years as a lecturer at Lebanese University, contributing to psychiatric education and training.
