Dr. Suthakar Raju

Mr. Raju is a Senior Sports Physiotherapist with over 26 years of experience in sports injury and orthopaedic rehabilitation. He is licensed by the Department of Health (DOH) and holds advanced certifications in multiple physiotherapy techniques including Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Spine Manual Therapy and the Mulligan Concept.

He specialises in managing sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and complex musculoskeletal conditions. His expertise includes ACL rehabilitation (both non-operative and post-operative), shoulder injuries, jaw joint disorders, vertigo, tinnitus and chronic pain conditions such as lower back and neck pain. Mr. Raju is highly experienced in return-to-sport testing, helping patients safely resume physical activity. He also offers Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy, a non-invasive technology that reduces stiffness, aids muscle healing, enhances recovery from chronic pain and post-surgical cases, and supports muscle re-education.

Mr. Raju has held key leadership roles including Senior Physiotherapist at Al Ain Football Club during a trophy-winning season and Team Leader at Al Ain Hospital. He is recognised for his results-driven, patient-centred approach, focusing on identifying and treating the root cause of pain rather than symptoms alone.
