Dr. Carolina Hernández

Dr. Carolina Hernández is a DHA-licensed Specialist Paediatrician with over nine years of experience caring for children from newborn through adolescence. She trained at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada and Hospital Militar Central in Colombia, completing her medical degree and paediatrics specialization alongside a diploma in Maternal, Perinatal, and Paediatric Nutrition. She has worked in leading UAE medical centres including Medcare Medical Centre JBR and Medicentres Polyclinic.

Dr. Hernández provides comprehensive paediatric care including diagnosis and treatment of acute childhood illnesses, immunisation assessments with personalised catch-up plans, routine check-ups, and growth and development monitoring. A particular strength is her guidance on healthy nutrition, feeding habits, and eating disorders — knowledge she brings from her formal training in paediatric nutrition.

Fluent in English and Spanish, she holds certification in Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and is committed to compassionate, evidence-based, family-centred care that puts both child and parent at ease.
