Dr. Shikha Fathima

Ms. Shikha Fathima is a physiotherapist at Medcare Physio & Rehab Centre in Dubai, bringing five years of clinical experience. She trained at Father Muller Medical College in Mangalore, India, and has worked across multiple rehabilitation settings—from hospital acute care to dedicated physio clinics to teaching roles—before relocating to the UAE.

Her clinical focus spans orthopaedics, sports injuries, post-operative recovery, and neurological conditions. She treats patients with low back pain, neck pain, knee and foot injuries, and shoulder problems using hands-on techniques, exercise programmes, manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, electrotherapy, and Kinesio taping. She is also trained in Hijama and cupping therapy. Her experience includes work with geriatric patients and women's health rehabilitation.

Ms. Fathima is a member of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists and the Sports and Fitness Training Federation of India. She brings a patient-centred approach grounded in both clinical training and mentoring experience.
