Dr. Uttam Kumar

Dr. Uttam Kumar is a consultant dermatologist with over 14 years of clinical experience, including more than seven years practicing in the UAE at reputed hospitals. He completed his Master's degree (MD) in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh, India, followed by three years of senior residency training in dermatology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.

Dr. Kumar treats the full spectrum of skin, hair and nail conditions in both adults and children. His clinical skills span dermatology procedures including radiofrequency ablation, cryotherapy, skin biopsies and intralesional injections, as well as aesthetic treatments such as chemical peels, microneedling, mesotherapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy and laser therapy for hair reduction and skin rejuvenation. He also performs skin surgery to remove cysts, moles and benign growths, and offers specialized scar revision using subcision, excision and microneedling techniques.

Dr. Kumar has presented research at international conferences including the World Congress of Dermatology and has published in peer-reviewed international journals. He holds particular expertise in paediatric dermatology, biological therapy for psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, and allergic skin conditions. His training and memberships in major international dermatology organizations reflect his commitment to staying current with advances in the field.
