Dr. Hanan Hafez

Dr. Hanan Hafez is a Consultant Cardiologist with over two decades of experience in heart care. She completed her medical degree at Ain Shams University in Cairo in 1992, followed by a Master's degree in Cardiology in 1996 and an MD in 2002. She began her career at Ain Shams University's Cardiology Department in 1994 and spent 14 years working across major Egyptian hospitals including Ain Shams Specialized Hospital, Dar EL-Shefa Hospital, El-Doura Cardiology Hospital, and Sheikh Zaid Hospital before relocating to the UAE in 2008.

Dr. Hanan specialises in emergency cardiac care and coronary artery disease management. She has extensive experience in critical care unit (CCU) practice, handling acute emergencies and performing CPR. She is also highly experienced in nuclear cardiology, having worked as part of the four-member nuclear cardiology team at Ain Shams University, one of Egypt's largest cardiology centres treating over 2,000 patients annually. Her diagnostic skills include electrocardiography, stress testing, Holter monitoring, and advanced imaging.

Since arriving in the UAE, she has worked at leading hospitals in Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah, and as an Assistant Professor at RAK Medical School. Dr. Hanan is particularly passionate about preventing heart disease through lifestyle changes and risk-factor management.
