Dr. Irfana Essa Karjikar

Dr. Irfana Essa Karjikar is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Mediclinic with over 25 years of international clinical experience. She trained and worked in Mumbai, India for three years before moving to Saudi Arabia, where she spent 25 years as a Specialist at Almana General Hospital. She then worked for three years at Mafraq Hospital in the UAE and has been at Mediclinic for the past three years.

Dr. Karjikar's clinical expertise covers female infertility and gynaecological conditions, management of normal and high-risk pregnancies, family planning (including insertion and removal of intrauterine contraceptive devices), and colposcopy procedures. She is fluent in English, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, and Gujarati, allowing her to communicate comfortably with diverse patient populations.
