Dr. Perla Villamor

Dr. Perla Villamor is a specialist otolaryngologist with advanced training in pediatric ear, nose, and throat (ENT) care. She completed her medical degree at Universidad de los Andes in Colombia and her ENT specialty training at Fundación Universitaria Ciencias de la Salud, also in Colombia. She then pursued specialized fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and trained as a visiting scholar at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, affiliated with Harvard Medical School. She now practices at American Hospital and Mira Clinic in Dubai.

Dr. Villamor's clinical focus is on children's ENT conditions, particularly complex airway surgery, congenital disorders, and genetic syndromes affecting the ear, nose, and throat. She has particular experience caring for children with cerebral palsy and autism spectrum disorders who have related ENT problems. Her expertise encompasses specialized pediatric airway procedures and the management of structural and genetic disorders that affect children's hearing, breathing, and swallowing. She has published over 30 articles in international medical journals and contributed to five medical textbooks on pediatric otolaryngology.

Dr. Villamor is an active member of leading international pediatric ENT organizations. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is dedicated to advancing care for children with complex ear, nose, and throat conditions.
