Dr. Mohammad Felo

Dr. Mohammad Felo is a German board-certified consultant interventional cardiologist with over 20 years of clinical experience, training, and education spanning Germany and now the UAE. He graduated from Goethe University Medical School in Frankfurt, one of Germany's leading medical institutions, and completed advanced cardiology and interventional training at high-volume centers across Germany. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI), and holds membership in the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI).

Dr. Felo specializes in managing ischemic heart disease, acute heart attacks, and complex coronary interventions. He performs cardiac catheterization with advanced imaging (IVUS/OCT and physiological assessment tools like FFR), angioplasty and stenting for complex lesions including bifurcation and left main lesions, and uses the trans-radial approach for reduced complications. Beyond intervention, he is certified in cardiac MRI (Level II), coronary CT angiography (Level II), transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress echo, and device interrogation (pacemakers, ICDs, cardiac resynchronization therapy). He also manages heart rhythm disorders, palpitations, chest pain, high blood pressure, cholesterol, heart failure, valve disease, and syncope.

A dedicated educator, Dr. Felo has trained junior doctors in advanced echocardiographic techniques and serves as a certified cardiovascular ultrasound instructor. After two decades in Germany, he relocated to the UAE, working in Dubai before joining Mediclinic Welcare Hospital. He is fluent in Arabic, English, and German, bringing a patient-centered approach to complex cardiac care.
