Dr. Yazan Azzam

Dr. Yazan Azzam is a Specialist Cardiologist with over six years of experience in cardiology. He trained at Damascus Hospital for Heart Diseases and Surgery, one of the largest cardiac centres in Damascus, Syria, where he completed his post-graduate qualifications. He has worked as a Specialist Cardiologist across multiple hospitals in Syria and the UAE, including Zulekha Hospital Sharjah, True Life Specialty Hospital Al Ain, and now Burjeel Hospital Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Azzam provides comprehensive cardiovascular care for adults, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of heart and blood vessel diseases. His clinical work covers chest pain assessment, blood pressure management, cholesterol treatment, and the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure and cardiomyopathy. He uses a range of diagnostic tools including electrocardiography (ECG), treadmill stress testing, 24-hour heart monitoring (Holter), echocardiography (ultrasound of the heart), ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, and coronary CT angiography to evaluate patients.
