Dr. Rajanikanth Venkatasubramanya Rachapudi

Dr. Rajanikanth is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with over 32 years of experience performing a wide range of orthopaedic procedures. He trained in India, completing his MBBS from Kurnool Medical College in 1982 and his MS in Orthopaedics from SV University in 1988. He went on to complete an MCH in Orthopaedics from the University of Seychelles in 2009. Since 1988, he has worked as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at several hospitals in India before joining NMC Healthcare Dubai in 1997.

Dr. Rajanikanth specializes in trauma surgery, knee arthroscopy (keyhole knee surgery), cervical and lumbar spine disc surgery, and Ilizarov external fixation—a technique for managing complex fractures. He is experienced in treating general fractures, meniscal tears of the knee, ACL reconstruction (anterior cruciate ligament repair), and minimally invasive micro-surgery of the spine.

He is fluent in multiple languages including Arabic, English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu, making him accessible to a diverse patient population. His approach combines extensive surgical experience with familiarity in both trauma management and specialized orthopaedic reconstruction.
