Dr. Iman Rashed Al Shamsi

Dr. Iman Rashed Al Shamsi is a dedicated nephrologist at SEHA Kidney Care in Abu Dhabi, with over 14 years of clinical experience in nephrology and internal medicine. She completed her medical degree from the United Arab Emirates University College of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2008, followed by residency training in internal medicine at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. Her specialist training in nephrology, completed through a fellowship at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (2015–2018), gave her extensive expertise across all major areas of kidney care.

Dr. Al Shamsi specializes in diagnosing and treating kidney diseases, managing both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, and caring for patients with chronic kidney disease at all stages. She also has expertise in transplant nephrology. Since 2018, she has been a core member of the SEHA Kidney Care team, focusing on personalized, evidence-based treatment and early intervention to prevent disease progression.

She takes a patient-centered approach to kidney health, combining her deep technical knowledge with a commitment to helping patients understand their condition and treatment options.
