Dr. Mays Abuhashhash

Dr. Mays Abuhashhash is a Consultant Paediatric Hospitalist at Danat Al Emarat Hospital in Abu Dhabi, with 10 years of experience in paediatrics. She trained at Al-Quds University in Palestine, where she earned her medical degree in 2011, followed by residency in general paediatrics and neonatology at Jordan Hospital in Amman. She holds certifications from both the Arab Board and the Jordanian Board of Pediatrics, obtained in 2017.

Dr. Abuhashhash specialises in emergency paediatric care, critical care, and resuscitation, as well as routine paediatric health supervision from newborns through adolescence. She manages a wide range of common childhood conditions including asthma, allergies, infections, feeding concerns, growth and development issues, immunisation, and gastrointestinal problems. She is trained in advanced resuscitation techniques including Paediatric Advanced Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation.

Before joining Danat Al Emarat, she worked as a Specialist Physician in the Paediatric Emergency Department at Tawam Hospital, Abu Dhabi. She is particularly interested in paediatric emergency medicine and medical education, and brings a comprehensive, child-centred approach to paediatric care.
