Dr. Adel Waheeb Jasim

Dr. Adel Waheeb Jasim is a Consultant Pediatrician at Burjeel Day Surgery Center in Abu Dhabi, with over 25 years of clinical experience caring for children from birth through adolescence. He trained at Baghdad Medical College, where he earned his medical degree in 1990, and completed specialist qualifications including the Iraqi Board in Pediatrics (1998) and Arab Board in Pediatrics (1999). He has also undertaken postgraduate training in pediatric nutrition at Boston University School of Medicine and received additional pediatric education through the American Academy of Pediatrics in Dublin.

Dr. Adel's clinical expertise spans neonatology (newborn care), pediatric nutrition, allergy and immunology, developmental and behavioral concerns, and pediatric endocrinology. He has a particular focus on managing common allergic conditions in children such as asthma, eczema, and allergic rhinitis, as well as assessing speech delay, developmental disorders, growth concerns, and vaccination. He brings a child-centered, family-focused approach to comprehensive pediatric care.

Fluent in both English and Arabic, Dr. Adel is an active member of the Iraqi Arab Society of Pediatrics and has held leadership roles within pediatric groups in Abu Dhabi.
